Starting at Zero

Reading – Zero to One by Peter Thiel

“A startup is the largest group of people you can convince of a plan to build a different future.” … “A startup must question received ideas and rethink business from scratch.”

As I read, I pick up ideas, views, modes of thought shading my present challenges. I suppose that is the essence of why people read self-help, business, or fiction books. Theil packs layered insight into such a short book. When he wrote about convincing the largest group, I immediately thought of community. Finding your tribe and building an audience seems like a natural prerequisite to convincing anyone. Zero to One forced me to rethink concept phase and idea generation.
